India’s newest airline has revealed its first aircraft
Akasa Air, India's top investor and billionaire Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, today (May 23) unveiled the image of its first-ever aircraft. The company is reportedly preparing for one of the largest aircraft purchase or lease deals of the year outside the US, involving at least a hundred Boeing 737 aircraft. In an interview with Bloomberg last year, Jhunjhunwala said Akasa Air will initially have 70 aircraft in its fleet.
