Ingraham Calls Fauci ‘Medical Deep State,’ Tells Trump To Ignore Virus Rally Warnings
Laura Ingraham of Fox News referred to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's leading infectious disease expert, derogated on Monday as "the medical low".
The moderator of "The Ingraham Angle" also urged President Donald Trump's campaign to ignore the "alarming COVID drivel" ahead of his upcoming indoor rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Several public health officials on Saturday at the BOK center with a capacity of 19,000 warned that spreading the virus, which has now killed over 118,000 people nationwide, could prove disastrous.
But Ingraham, a staunch defender of Trump, argued that the warnings were bunkum.
She ridiculed Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, for a recent interview with the British Daily Telegraph that he warned, “We could to some extent within a day to return to normal year or so, but I don't think it is this winter or fall. "
"The medical lowland is striking again," joked Ingraham after claiming the hypocrisy of "science", which thought it was okay to actually pack large crowds outdoors to protest in the name of liberal political concerns, " but "considers it unacceptably dangerous to attend large indoor gatherings."
"I'm sure it's just a coincidence that these super spreader events are a perfect match for the rally Trump planned for the weekend," she said.
"From now on, the president and his campaign should simply no longer react to this alarming COVID fool," continued Ingraham. "None of these people, unfortunately also Dr. Fauci, can really be taken so seriously in view of what we have seen because science, journalism and entertainment have been politically obscured."
"Why didn't any of those people who complained about the health threats of Trump's future rallies expressed any real persistent concern about shoulder-to-shoulder protesters shouting loudly, some wearing no masks, others taking on and off and wearing BLM, Antifa, or evil anti-Trump signs, don't worry, ”she added.
