“Does my wife run my children in rags? My kids are 5 and 3, ”he explained. “You are active and full of energy. I feel like sometimes they pretend they need more action when in reality they need more rest. During the week her school hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You are in pre-care at 7 a.m. and in aftercare until 4 p.m. So you really are at school for nine hours. They get up separately at 6 a.m. They have gymnastics two days a week. My wife added them to a weekend activity as well. She also tries to play super aunt by going to her nephew's sporting events at 4:30 pm at least once a week. So our children don't come home until 6 p.m. in these days."
The husband just wanted his wife to skip the nephew's game every week.

"Is it inappropriate to ask her not to go to the nephew's events during the week?" He said. “Because when I suggested it, she was offended. I'm at work until 6 p.m. and home at 6:30 p.m. And honestly, I'm not going to take vacation time (for my family) to get home two hours early so my wife can go to our nephew's baseball game. Is that too much for the children? "
Redditors weighed in with the father's troubles.
"It sounds more like controlling your wife than being a parent to you," someone commented.
"I really don't know why you are so bothered that your wife wants to do something with her nephew once a week," wrote another.
"I agree that's a little much for kids," said one person.
