Before its redesign for the 2021 model year, the Jaguar F-Type was one of the most beautiful vehicles on the market. The same goes for the updated version. What hasn't changed either is the fact that while it looks good, it sounds even better. Thanks to a supercharged V8 with 575 hp, the growl of the F-Type can be heard long before you see it coming. Oh, it'll turn heads. It's also pretty fun to drive. And Omaze is giving one away.

This is what we thought about the F-Type when we drove it for the first time last summer:
“Sitting behind the wheel of the V8-powered F-Type R remains an absolute eye-catcher. You sit deep in the cockpit and look at the long bonnet - we couldn't see the end without lifting the seat up a little. The round steering wheel is big for a sports car, and while the leather is supple and grippy, it was difficult to find a position where our hands were comfortable and our fingers could reach the clicking metal paddle shifters. There are two types of seats available on the F-Type models, but the more aggressive “Performance” seats are standard on the R. They are amply padded, but wide enough not to restrict on longer journeys.
“The supercharged V8 starts with a loud growl, but a new Quiet Start mode can weaken it by closing the valves in the exhaust when starting. Your neighbors will appreciate this feature as the F-Type R is one of the loudest factory exhaust vehicles we've ever tested. The engine and exhaust dominate the car experience from start to finish. The volume ranges from extremely loud to how the hell is that legal?
“Jaguar claims it takes just 3.5 seconds to get to 60 mph, so acceleration within the speed limit is short lived. The nature of this engine, the way it generates power, is the most seductive part of acceleration. You don't have to wait a split second for a few turbos to run up. The power is just here, and there is no separation between your right foot and the jag leaping forward. Also, don't shift gears until the maximum horsepower kicks in at 6,500 rpm, as the more you take it off, the stronger the feeling of forward thrust. The immediacy of the responsiveness of this drive train and the wild noises emanating from these four pipes make the F-Type R one of the best pedaling experiences in the world. "
According to Omaze, "No donation or payment is required to enter or win this competition." If you choose to donate, $ 10 will get 100 items, $ 50 will get 1,000 items, and $ 100 will get 2,000 items.
