Jana Kramer gives fans the workout motivation they didn't know they needed.
On Thursday, the 38-year-old mother-of-two took to Instagram to share a workout photo with her more than 2 million followers. The "One Tree Hill" and "Dancing with the Stars" alum paired crunching her "torn" abs with a caption urging her fans to be proud of themselves and not compare their progress to others.
"When the hard work pays off, be proud of yourself," she wrote. "We tear ourselves apart so much and we're always comparing or saying, 'Well, but I don't like that part.' Be proud of where you are today."
"We all have our days when we feel disconnected, but nothing is overnight," the podcast host Whine Down continued. "Don't compare yourself to other people's photos. Be proud of the work YOU do.”
Kramer joked that while it might not appear so in her photo, she battled a hangover during her workout.
"Besides, being hungover and doing that today sucked. Dog's hair later," she joked. "Plus I love you @erinoprea [Erin Oprea] and your pesky butt bands."
The 'I Got the Boy' singer's post was met with applause for her toned abs and inspirational message.
"Yes, girl! #Ripped," one Instagram user commented, while another wrote, "Ab goals."
"You look amazing!" Another fan chimed in.
"This is such great news, thanks for sharing. You look great! And after 2 children. Super impressive. Your hard work is definitely paying off," added another.
"Look at those abs. You're doing great mom," commented another.
Kramer's post comes just a week after she told fans she was "emotionally exhausted" from her recent split from ex-boyfriend Ian Schinelli.
"I'm kind of thinking about [if] my divorce didn't kill me, then nothing will kill me," she revealed on Dear Media's It Sure Is A Beautiful Day podcast May 10, adding that she However, tut has felt "emotionally drained" since their recent split. "I will never settle for anything again," she continued. “I give people a lot of grace and I understand that people make mistakes.
"I despise myself in the process of staying in something I know isn't what I want from someone. I don't want to be with someone who just lied to me," she explained. "It's not the type of relationship I want because then all my past triggers come out and I become someone I'm not. That's something I need to recognize as well.”
