JD Scott Eases Fans Concerns After Jonathan Scott Posts Family Photo Without Zooey Deschanel
Nice from the house
Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel continue to be absolute relationship goals. In fact, Scott Deschanel just wrote the cutest note on her 41st birthday weekend. Ahead of the occasion, a photo Scott shared on Instagram last week worried that something might be going on between the two. Fortunately, a little Photoshop magic could get things right.
On Thursday, Scott shared a family photo on Instagram. "I miss these beautiful people today," he wrote in the headline. Scott appears in the center of the photo, surrounded by Drew Scott and wife Linda Phan; JD Scott and Mrs. Annalee Belle; and parents Jim and Joanne Scott. Zooey Deschanel is nowhere to be seen. What makes her absence even more distinctive is that Scott is the only family member pictured alone.
Fans of Scott's relationship with Deschanel went to the comments and asked where she was. Fortunately, however, Deschanel and JD were quick to clear up confusion. “Someone took me into Photoshop. This is before I met any of these great people,” Deschanel wrote in the comments. JD also reiterated the fact that this was a photo before his brother started dating Deschanel. "For those concerned, Zooey isn't there, it's a #TBT photo. Throw back Thursday. Long before she joined the fam-jam," he wrote. Phew!
The next day, Scott shared the same photo, but with a super adorable edit: Deschanel was added. "That's amazing," he wrote in the caption of the newly reworked photo. He thanked Twitter user Shanna Jones for photoshopping Deschanel, who plays the ukelele while donning a pink cardigan and white dress.
As for the rest of the photo, you might be curious as to why everyone is posing like this. The photo Scott originally shared in November 2016 was the family's attitude towards the Mannequin Challenge. This internet viral trend, which began in November 2016, required attendees to freeze in the middle of the action, CNN previously reported. Deschanel and Scott didn't start dating until September 2019, which is why she wasn't there for the photo. However, we're happy to see that modern technology can literally bring them into the picture.
