Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator now have Gorilla Glass upgrades

As rumored last month and announced at the Easter Jeep Safari, Jeep has provided Gorilla Glass windshields for the Wrangler and Gladiator. This is an extension of Jeep and Mopar's Gorilla Glass offerings that started with the JK Wrangler's windshield, which is still available. It also means that the two most recent Jeeps, along with other cars such as the Ford F-150 and Ford GT, use glass technology.
The glass is like what is used in many modern smartphones, and it appears that on top of the inner layer of Gorilla Glass, an outer layer is 52% thicker than a regular Wrangler / Gladiator windshield. Basically, it should be significantly more resistant to damage. That should be quite appealing given Jeep's off-road focus.
In addition to their high strength, the official windscreens are just as functional as the normal ones. They have all the small Jeep Easter Egg design elements and, depending on the equipment, are compatible with the front-facing camera and the associated heating.
Prices range from $ 793 to $ 932, depending on what features you need for your model. These prices are for the parts, so installation may cost a little more. The windshields are guaranteed for two years and unlimited kilometers. JK Wrangler windshields are slightly cheaper at $ 645.
