Jennifer Aniston has a new furry friend in her family.
The 51-year-old Morning Show star took to Instagram on Sunday to share a video of her new rescue dog.
"Hello! I want to introduce you to the newest member of our? Family ... this is (a very tired) Lord Chesterfield. He stole my heart straight away," Aniston wrote Grateful that you care so much about these rescue workers and that you find them at home forever. "
In the video, the camera pans to the sleeping puppy, who passes out and exposes its pink belly.
“Chesterfield. Did you fall asleep with your bone in your mouth “You can hear Aniston asking how she is filming the sleepy dog. "I think you did."
A lifelong animal lover, Aniston's new pup joins their already busy brood, which includes Clyde, a mix of schnauzers, and Sophie, a white pit bull. These furry friends make frequent cameos on social media, like Clyde's appearance in March encouraging people to vote.
Aniston has spoken a lot about the importance of her pets and the "mother" role she has taken on. In 2015, she told Allure that she doesn't like [the pressure] people put on me and women - that you failed yourself as a woman because you failed to reproduce. I don't think it's fair. You may not have a child out of your vagina, but that doesn't mean you aren't mothered - dogs, friends, children of friends. "
Aniston previously referred to her pups as "my children" when she spoke about being forced to evacuate her Los Angeles home due to the 2017 wildfire.
"When we had to be evacuated because of the forest fire in December, I took my dogs, grabbed underwear, my toothbrush and a change of clothes," she told InStyle. “Just get my dogs and me out of here. You are my children! "
