Jennifer Aniston says she 'couldn't hold it together' filming this 'Friends' scene with Lisa Kudrow
Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow strolled into the past during a video chat for Variety's Actors on Actors. The actresses remembered their days at Friends - 10 years to be precise - and admitted that the popular sitcom was causing them problems with professional engagement when the series ended in 2004.
"When you're producing, you're there from the ground up and have the idea and the show - and then the screenplays and then the crew and then the cast. Find this to be a more comfortable place to work, or enjoy going to one already educated family and are the host family member for the time being? "Aniston asked her former co-star.

“I like being a host family member for the time being. It's different when I make my own thing, but I've had a problem with engagement to be honest with friends, ”Kudrow replied.
"Just afraid to commit to something because nothing will ever be as good as friends? I understand, ”added Aniston.
"Friends, it's not like," Oh, it was so hard work for 10 years, "Kudrow said." It isn't that. I knew this show worked because we were all committed to each other. It wasn't just a role, it was a contract. We all still love each other. Our line-up is like that and that's why it worked. I think part of me has died. I can't do that again. I will not do this again. "

During the one-hour virtual reunification, Kudrow asked her friend if she had seen Friends episodes during the coronavirus pandemic at home.
"I love it. I love stumbling across a Friends episode," Aniston said. "This time I was at Courteney [Cox] and we tried to find something we could relate to, an old thing with Friends, and then we stumbled on - there are blunders online - and sat there on the computer like two nerds who watched these blunders laughing at ourselves. "
Kudrow knew exactly what Aniston was talking about and admitted that she also watched "Hours" Patzer.
Aniston said what she loves when she sees an episode of Friends is to remember the exact moment when someone broke the character while filming.
"I love this: when I watch an episode, I usually remember where we broke during the scene," added Aniston.
"They do?!" answered a surprised Kudrow.
"You and I would always get this laugh fit because you had this wonderful ability to do it - you were going to hit your punch line, and you would do this adorable thing where you'd break. They would say the punch line and always turn to the audience and say, "I'm sorry, it's really funny." (Friends recorded in front of a live audience.)
"Yes, I didn't want to say the punch line, did I?" Kudrow said approvingly. "I didn't want to ruin it."
"You had the ability to giggle while breaking the punch line. Because as Lisa you found it funny what Phoebe said. Which was so lovely, ”added Aniston.
"What is an engagement problem," Kudrow said.
"And then I would watch you do that and then I would break," added Aniston. "We were terrible."
Aniston vividly remembered a scene that made her laugh: "The scene when the bagpipe happened."
It refers to season 7, episode 15 entitled "The One with Joey's New Brain". David Schwimmer's character Ross learned how to play bagpipes for the wedding of Monica (Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry).
"The bagpipes - where you started singing 100 percent - sound like the bagpipes - I couldn't keep it together," laughed Aniston. "Nobody could hold it together."
