Jennifer Garner Reveals How Her Team Really Reacted to Her Alias Pool Scene Recreation
Christmas came early for Jennifer Garner's fans when the actress recreated her iconic Alias pool scene earlier this month.
Golden Globe winner, who played Sydney Bristow on the ABC TV series from 2001 to 2006, released her more realistic reinterpretation of the sexy moment on December 4th. Her 2020 version featured a humble Speedo swimsuit instead of a bikini, slippers instead of a kitten heels, and matted hair instead of a wet back.
However, not everyone was enthusiastic about the fun replica of the spy show. At the time, Jennifer was teasing her manager Nicole King Solaka and publicist Meredith O'Sullivan Wasson for promising them that she would never share the clip.
The 48-year-old star wrote, "This is THE video I promised my manager (hi, @nksolaka) and publicist (hi, @mereowass) that I would never post." She added, "Sometime in 2021 ladies, I'll try to look cute just to you."

Now Jennifer reveals what her team really thought of the pool video. "Obviously, they don't want you to purposely post anything unattractive," she told Entertainment Weekly on Monday, December 21st. "They said, 'Jennifer, you can look good in a bathing suit! Don't put that out there." ! 'Basically: "You will never work again."

While Jennifer laughed, she explained, "I just said, 'I'll never look like this in a bathing suit. There's no way. And I think it's funny' ... And today is the day it's going up!"
Your team can't be insane considering they've got 4 million views! Plus, Rita Wilson, Eva Longoria, and Kat Dennings are obsessed.
The 13 going on 30 stars admitted in the outlet that they haven't seen Alias since it aired, although they recently came across the clip and couldn't believe their eyes.
"I was just like, 'Are you kidding me? I should have been walking around in a swimsuit all year and I didn't even know it!'" She joked. "Like what the hell?"
Violet, Samuel, and Seraphina Affleck's mother continued to please Alias fans as she answered one final question: is she ready for the Emmy Award-winning show to restart? "Sure," she laughed.
While there are a ton of reboots and sequels out there that are completely unnecessary, we have to say this one sounds right down our alley. Somebody gets J.J. Abrams on the phone!
