When it comes to cycling shorts, people typically fall into one of two camps: those who love them and incorporate the huggable shorts into their everyday wardrobe, and those who wouldn't get caught dead in them — at least not anywhere outside of the gym. I, for one, have always been a member of the latter group, but Jennifer Lopez's latest look just might have put me on the other side.
On Sunday afternoon, J.Lo went to New York City with her stepdaughter Violet Affleck, 16, for a relaxing day of shopping, and for the occasion she styled a pair of gray spandex shorts in the most elegant of ways.

Lopez pairs her bike shorts with a breezy but crisp white shirt and accessorised with matching chunky trainers, a Gucci shoulder bag and her signature aviator shades. She pulled her caramel hair back into a loose bun with a center parting and wore minimal makeup for the day out.

The Affleck-Lopez clan is currently in the Big Apple for Ben's 50th birthday. The trip comes weeks after the couple headed to Paris for their highly publicized honeymoon, which reportedly upset Ben. "Ben freaked out a bit in Paris," a source previously told Page Six, adding that while he's used to taking pictures of them, "this was a whole new level — almost a Princess Diana level." .”
“Ben is used to the blinking lights. But he felt like the honeymoon was a tsunami," the insider continued. "Jen is made of steel and knows it's part of the territory, [but] he's still pissed."
