Jerry Jones on Eagles QB Jalen Hurts: ‘We looked at him’ really hard during the NFL Draft
It seems Howie Roseman isn't the only general manager in the NFL who knew Jalen Hurts was going to be special, and you can put Jerry Jones on the growing list of young signalers.
During his weekly visit to 105.3 The Fans, the cowboy owner and biggest star admitted that he had Hurts in mind as a potential backup for Dak Prescott. According to Jones, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy is a proponent of running his own quarterback factory.
Jones went on to mention that his team is missing Dak Prescott and is excited to strike a deal with the star quarterback, but the owner of the Dallas Cowboys appears to be one of the few GMs in the league who openly admit they are could drop the ball in the rating of the former Alabama and Oklahoma star.
