Apparently, Jessica Mulroney hired a crisis PR firm to deal with "backlash against her".
The top-class stylist was accused of using her white privilege to threaten lifestyle writer Sasha Exeter's career.
Jessica was dropped by CTV and Good Morning America while her husband Ben Mulroney resigned from his Etalk job.
Jessica Mulroney has reportedly hired a public relations firm to deal with crises after massively criticizing Sasha Exeter's career. As a quick reminder, Jessica's alleged behavior was brought to light after Sasha shared her experience in an Instagram video. She explained that Jess threatened Sasha's livelihood when Sasha asked her colleagues to use her voices and significant platforms to help the blacks live matter movement.
Jessica has since apologized and, according to Us Weekly, has also hired a crisis PR firm to help her cope with the "backlash".
"Jessica has hired a large crisis PR team to deal with all of these backlashes against her," a source said. "She spoke to lawyers, image experts, and crisis PR teams. She brought many of them home to brainstorm and find a way to get past this."
In her Instagram video above, Sasha said Jessica used the "textbook white privilege" to threaten her:
"For a period of about a week, Jessica basically ticked every box that a white woman should absolutely not do during the greatest racial turmoil in history," she said. “The fact that she threatens me - a single mother, a single black mother - during a racial pandemic is driving me crazy. The goal here is a real, transformative change - no visual and performative idiocy. You cannot post that you show solidarity while trying to silence someone through text. "
Jessica's apology to Sasha is her last post on Instagram and reads: “As some of you may have seen, @sashaexeter and I disagreed. She rightly called on me not to do enough when it came to having important and difficult discussions about race and injustice in our society. I took it personally and that was wrong. I know I have to do better. "
