Your first Thanksgiving as a family of three! Arizona Cardinals defenseman JJ Watt shared a photo of his 1-month-old baby with Chicago Red Stars player Kealia Ohai Watt as they celebrated.
"More to be thankful for than ever," the 33-year-old NFL star wrote via Instagram on Thursday, Nov. 24. "Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!"
The photo showed JJ with baby Koa, who was wrapped in a blue blanket that matched his dad's Nike trainers. The soccer player wore a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans, while his wife, 30, wore black cargo pants with a white tank top. Both smiled at their little one for the snap. Kealia responded with two red hearts.

The duo welcomed Koa a month ago. "Love and happiness have reached heights we didn't even know existed. Koa James Watt 10.23.22," the couple, who wed in February 2020, wrote in a joint Instagram post on Oct. 25, along with a sweet shot of the couple rocking their newborn in the hospital.
On November 11, Watt was asked how little Koa felt about a decision by referee Clete Blakeman, who mistakenly called dead a game in which Watt was about to go into the end zone. Watt joked that his son was angry.
"He watched, so he saw it. He was angry. He was pretty angry. It took a while for us to put him to bed. We had to calm him down because he wanted to call Clete himself 'your day will come,'" he joked with reporters prior to Week 11.
He also opened up about his appearance on HBO's Hard Knocks with Kealia and Koa, and joked that their dogs are the real stars. "Every time I get to share the screen with my wife, my son and our dogs, I have to — my wife and I are incredibly proud of our dogs that I've never seen," he joked. “Our dogs don't behave like this on any walk we've ever taken and they've been phenomenal. We need 24/7 Hard Knocks cameras when we go for a walk because our dogs really crushed it. Tex and Finn - they're going up for the occasion."

JJ and Kealia announced in June that a human would join their fur babies and shared that they "couldn't be more excited" to be expecting in the fall. They didn't have a sex reveal but casually dropped that they had a son in passing. It was so casual that fans wondered if JJ made a mistake. One asked if he accidentally missed the news, to which he replied: "We didn't reveal gender, we just found out and then told people when they asked."
The new dad always puts family first and he transmits this to the next generation of the family. JJ has already FaceTimed Koa with cousins Logan, 2, and Brayden, 23 months - whom Derek shares with his wife Gabriella Watt - as he revealed earlier this month in a birthday tribute to the Pittsburgh Steelers - player revealed.
“All the soccer games in the yard when we were kids, the mini hockey fights in the basement etc. Now we FaceTiming so our kids can see each other. (Still playing soccer though!) Crazy! Happy Birthday Brother!!" JJ wrote via Instagram on Nov. 7.
The Watt family had a lot to celebrate in 2022. The athletes' youngest brother, TJ Watt, tied the knot with his wife Dani Rhodes in July.
