Joey King Got Her First Haircut Since Growing Out a Buzz Cut
When it's October, Joey King makes a big change to her hair. It's practically a law. In 2018, she gave us a glimpse of how she shaved her head for her Emmy-nominated role on The Act. Last year, the Kissing Booth actress added extensions to her still short hair to create a wavy bob. and now the bob is back with some good ol 'scissors.
Throughout 2020, King has worn longer hair than we've seen this year - hey, it takes a while for a buzz cut to grow out - and recently showed off her natural waves in an Instagram post sharing the ball that she made to break her Yom Kippur quickly. But while the length and beach structure are not enviable, King clearly decided it was time to make a change.
On Thursday, October 8th, King shared a cute new photo on Instagram titled "Who's Got Short Hair Now and Voted Today?!?! THIS GAL." In the picture we can see that King has returned to the bob look with her hair just above her chin - a chin covered by a black and white face mask that keeps saying "VOTE". A second slide shows that she put her ballot in a ballot box in Los Angeles County. (Nice Mani, Joey!)
Although some of the comments expressed political preferences, many responded to King's new haircut. “Are you looking good?” Wrote Kissing Booth co-star Taylor Zakhar Perez to her while fans commented “Cute Hair ✔ Voted ✔ Great job on @joeyking !! ❤️” and “Omg stunning ?????? ?? ❤️. "
We can't wait to see what her new haircut looks like without a mask - if she's safe at home, of course.
