Justin Jefferson says he’s “no diva” in response to clip of him yelling about Kirk Cousins
The Vikings had to swap receiver Stefon Diggs because of his dissatisfaction with the passing game. The Vikings don't have to worry about swapping the recipient Justin Jefferson. At least not now.
After quarterback Kirk Cousins threw the ball at Jefferson in the end zone in the second half of Sunday's 33:27 loss to the Bears, a field microphone held Jefferson and yelled, “F-k, Kirk! Come on! Throw the ball!"
Jefferson responded to a tweet of the moment, "They love to blow things out of proportion. And I'm not a diva who doesn't twist it."
The Vikings retweeted Jefferson's tweet to reinforce the message.
Jefferson, screaming frustration in the back of the end zone, is far from facing the quarterback or having an incident on the sideline. Jefferson has not been a problem in any way this season.
