Kanye West began another interview Monday, only to walk away 20 minutes later.
Before getting off Timcast IRL, West volunteered to "get straight to the heart of this anti-Semitic allegation," shooting Donald Trump after the joint dinner and making vague but emphatic claims that entities are working to jail him, possibly over unpaid taxes. Flanking the 45-year-old was white nationalist Nick Fuentes, whose presence face-to-face at the Mar-a-Lago sent Trump's team into damage control, and Milo Yiannopoulos, whose past is also rife with hate speech. West said he was introduced to the latter by a producer of Alex Jones, the alt-right conspirator recently ordered to pay $1.44 billion in a defamation lawsuit against the families of Sandy Hook Elementary shooting victims to count.
At 5:30 p.m. above, Ye brought up former Vice President Mike Pence, who said Trump was "wrong to give a seat at the table to a white nationalist, an anti-Semite, and a Holocaust denier, and I think he should apologize for that." .
"Look at Pence," West said. "He sold Trump. You know what I mean? I would never have wanted to do anything to hurt Trump. I'm on Trump's side. Trump said things that hurt me. He lied about me, but I mean he's known for lying. And when people tell me he's a liar, it's like I went into the trenches for Trump. There was no one in my position who wore that hat.”
After dinner, Trump called Kanye "a seriously troubled man" online. "I told him not to run for office, a total waste of time, he can't win," the twice-indicted ex-POTUS wrote on Truth Social. (In a video summarizing the meeting, West said Trump belittled Kim Kardashian and "basically started yelling at me at the table and telling me I was losing.")
"I lost the free speech money, and that makes me the only American we know who really deserves to run the country," West said on the podcast. "Because everyone else — your boy DeSantis, Trump, whoever they're raising in a petri dish over on the Democrat side — will be playing the game."
Continuing his campaign of disinformation and anti-Jewish sentiment, Kanye said at 7:50 p.m., “God is using me. He dissects me, removes all the, you know, "richest person," all of that so I can serve him. And the more these things are taken away from me, the more I can be empty and be a vessel and be able to be used. And right now it's like... if we can't, you won't take my pain, right? Jews say, "It's the Holocaust, that's what happened, and you can't say anything about it." We can't take their pain away. Nobody will denounce the fact that they tried to imprison me! 'Cause every time I just keep up, I thought I was Malcolm X, but I find out I'm more MLK. Because since I'm being hosed down by the press and financially every day, I just stand there. And when I found out they were trying to put me in jail, it was like a dog biting my arm and I almost shed a tear. Nearly. But I walked through them anyway.”
Host Tim Pool replied: "I think they were extremely unfair to you."
Ye pushed back: "Who is 'she' though? We can't tell who "they" are, can we?"
After a few more lines were exchanged - including Fuentes who started with "But that's them, isn't it?" He previously warned: “To come here, I feel like it's a setup to defend. I'm not going to go through with it like I'm literally going to let the F go off the show sitting up here and having to talk about it, 'You can't say it was Jews that did it.' If that's any sane person knows – I mean, Jon Stewart knows what happened to me. And they took it too far.”
In one of his numerous statements about the possibility of going to prison, West - who said he was planning to "buy my own bank" for $50 million to $75 million - said: "Someone at CohnReznick tells me - and I tell." all my finance folks, never use the term "a lot" - but they said, okay, you're going to have to pay a lot of taxes. And that made me feel like they're just waiting, like, 'We finally got him, we can finally put him in jail.' And I said, 'Can I still run for president in jail?' I found out that I could, so I thought, okay, that's fine then. ... I'm talking about literally finding out they tried to put me in jail this morning. ... They banned four of my accounts with $75 million. They said I owe about $50 million. Now I go to different CFOs and I say: Okay, so that would be tax evasion? Because I'm obviously not the most financially literate person on the planet."
Also on Monday, Senator Chuck Schumer said in the Senate, "It is disgusting and dangerous for a former President to sit down and have dinner with a high-profile anti-Semite. Giving an anti-Semite even the slightest platform, let alone an audience at dinner, is pure evil.”
