Kate Middleton and Prince William Just Gave Their Website a Major Overhaul
Kate Middleton and Prince William want to keep their followers up to date on their latest endeavors. Because of this, they have just made some important updates to their Royal Foundation's website.
The royal couple recently changed the home page of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Royal Foundation to coincide with the launch of Prince William's Earthshot Prize, a new program offering $ 65 million to help guide the next few "Solutions for the world's greatest environmental problems ”decade.
In honor of the initiative, which was first announced in January and rewards those who make a difference in climate change, the royal duo redesigned the website with a completely new layout and eye-catching imagery that not only includes beautiful shots of the area but also snapshots of the Duke and Duchess of their last engagements too. It also includes a number of articles describing their recent work and projects.
Our favorite touch? The tiny BIOS for Duke and Duchess was centered in the middle of the homepage. Not to mention, they added their titles, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge" just below the main Royal Foundation title.
This is the first time since April that the couple have comprehensively updated the foundation's homepage when they released a statement on their plans to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
"The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will do everything in its power to support those on the front lines of responding to COVID-19 in the UK," read part of the statement. "In the coming weeks the foundation will:
We are working to connect our partners with those who are able to provide hands-on support to the frontline forces and their families.
We are doing everything we can to promote and support the charities that can help serve the emergency services and their families with their mental health needs.
And we are doing our part in national efforts to thank and celebrate all who are working on the front lines of this crisis. "
The homepage also included photos from the couple visiting a London Ambulance Service call center where they met with staff to thank them for their hard work during the coronavirus outbreak.
Apparently, these two want the followers to know exactly where their priorities are.
