Katharine McPhee Just Seemingly Confirmed Her Pregnancy in a Super Subtle Way

After much speculation, American Idol alum Katharine McPhee apparently confirmed that she is expecting her first child with husband David Foster. You might have missed it on her Instagram story!
On Friday October 10, the Broadway star took to Instagram to share a gift she received from the liquor company Aperol Spritz. After Katharine raved about the gift, which included instructions on how to make the Italian cocktail, she suggested that these ingredients stay on her bar cart for some time.
"I won't drink this for a while," Katharine said subtly in the video. "Wink, wink. But I'm so excited."
Last week, Katharine and David made speculation as to what to expect after the husband and wife were seen shopping for baby clothes. A source said E! News "Katharine always wanted to be a mother and have a baby with David," and while the couple "wasn't necessarily looking for a baby," they were open to it.
Katharine and David exchanged vows in June 2019, but had a long history as friends and co-workers before they tied the knot.
Katharine McPhee & David Foster: Romance Reverse
"Exactly 13 years ago today, my very first single, 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' was released right after Idol. Today ... I'm going to marry the man who produced it," she wrote on Instagram. "Life is full of beautiful coincidences, isn't it? Thank you for taking me over the rainbow, David."
Katharine is already the stepmother of David's five children, including Barely Famous stars Erin and Sara Foster.
Sara and Katharine are friends, and Sara, who is three years older than Katharine, jokes about their new family relationship on Instagram.
"When your mother refuses to dress appropriately for her age," wrote Sara on a picture of her and the singer in bikinis on vacation.
With a new baby on the way, the whole close-knit Foster family seems to have something to look forward to.
