Katharine McPhee Says She 'Won't Be Drinking' Alcohol 'Anytime Soon' amid Pregnancy News

Katharine McPhee will begin her journey into motherhood without her favorite cocktail in hand.
The 36-year-old Smash star apparently referenced her pregnancy news in a video posted on her Instagram Stories on Friday, saying she was "not going to be indulging in an Aperol Spritz soon" after giving her a package Ingredients had been sent for making the wine-based drink.

McPhee is expecting their first child with husband David Foster, sources previously confirmed to PEOPLE.

Erin previously told PEOPLE that McPhee has been a positive addition to her life - and she is sometimes jokingly referred to as "Mom!" Designated.
