Kelly Clarkson focuses on what's most important in the days after the divorce from her husband, music manager Brandon Blackstock.
A source reports to People magazine that the singer spent a lot of time with the couple's two children, daughter River Rose (6) and son Remington Alexander (4), in their Los Angeles home.
"She was reserved and mostly stayed at home," said the source. "You seem to be fine."
Last week, fans were shocked to learn that Kelly filed for divorce from her nearly seven-year-old husband on June 4, 2020. The talk show host and voice coach cited "irreconcilable differences" in the submission, in which the couple's separation date was "TBD," according to People.
On Friday, Kelly was photographed walking her dog in her LA neighborhood. It was the first time she was seen in public since the sad news of her divorce became known. According to People, she wasn't wearing a wedding ring at the time.
Kelly and her family have lived at their Montana ranch since March when they practiced social distancing in the coronavirus crisis. The family seemed closer than ever in the past few months when the singer gave funny insights into her private life at the ranch. In April, Kelly even released a cute video of her husband and children wishing her a happy birthday. Brandon said, "Happy Birthday, baby. I love you more than you'll ever know."
