Kendrick Perkins ready to put Steph Curry over Magic Johnson in history

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry has achieved everything in his NBA career. He has the most 3-pointers in game history, he has two NBA MVP awards, he's made countless All-Star Games and All-NBA appearances, and he has three championships.
A resume like this puts any player in the running to be at the forefront of NBA history.
ESPN's Kendrick Perkins is poised to crown Curry the all-time best point guard if he can give The Bay a fourth title in this current playoff run while also winning Finals MVP. Yes, that means putting him above the great Magic Johnson in the game's history.
Perkins on ESPN's "Get Up":
When it comes to Steph Curry, winning another championship alongside the Finals MVP will put him in the top 10 greatest players of all time. Second, it will move him as the number one person to ever play and think about the game. I want you to think about it. Steph Curry, Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Wild Chamberlain are the only players in NBA history to win multiple championships, multiple scoring titles, and multiple MVPs. Steph Curry would shape and now be on NBA Mount Rushmore. When you think of a generational talent that forever changed the game at the point guard position. He's made shots that will make you cool on the bench again and think about it: his three championships. Who did you win against? LeBron James and Steph Curry were troublemakers and destroyed happy families. Think of the 3-1 lead the Oklahoma City Thunder team gambled away against them and suddenly he broke up Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook and KD left and joined him to win a championship. So check out Steph Curry, the green-eyed assassin. If he goes on to win a fourth NBA title with a Finals MVP, forget the top 10 list, forget the greatest point guard of all time, he'll be on NBA Mount Rushmore. Period.
It's hard to disagree with Perkins here. If Curry and the Warriors won another title in 2022 and he became Finals MVP, what else would he have to do? At that point, it was all an example of greatness for the Golden State legend.
