Kid Cudi Slams Kanye West for ‘Using His Power to F— Me,’ Says It’ll ‘Take a Miracle’ for Them to Be Friends Again

Kid Cudi railed against Kanye West in a new profile published by Esquire magazine. The two musicians were friends and worked together for several years, but a public falling out broke out in February after Kanye removed Cudi's contributions from his album Donda 2 because Cudi was friends with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, who was in a relationship with Kim Kardashian after she ended her marriage to West.
“I've been on every one of this man's albums. He was only on two of mine. That should tell you something," Cudi told Esquire about West. "And don't think I didn't ask."

After West removed Cudi from "Donda 2," he posted several anti-Cudi images on his Instagram page. One photo showed West at a table with Cudi, Davidson and Timothée Chalamet. West ran an "X" across all faces except Chalamets. He also photographed the poster for Captain America: Civil War, portraying Davidson, Cudi, and Kardashian as an opposing team.
"You know how it feels to wake up one day and look at your social media and be trending because someone is talking shit about you?" said Cudi. "And then you got that person's trolls to message you on Instagram and Twitter? Everything in your comments? That shit pissed me off. That he had the power to fuck me that week. That he used his power to fuck me. That pissed me off. You are fucking with my sanity now bro.”

Cudi told Esquire he's at a point in his life where he has "zero tolerance for the wrong energies," adding, "I've seen over the years so many people close to him were burned by him doing some shit shit. And then they turn around and forgive him. And there are no consequences. You're cool again with this man. He does it over and over again.”
"I'm not one of your children. I'm not Kim It doesn't matter if I'm friends with Pete or not. None of that shit had anything to do with me," Cudi continued. "If you can't be a grown man and deal with losing your wife? That's not my damn problem. You have to own your shit like every man has in this life. I've lost women too. And I had to admit it. I don't need that in my life. I do not need it."
Cudi dismissed claims that West was responsible for his career and assured his fans that he won't be West's boyfriend again anytime soon. Cudi also shadowed Drake for fighting with West and then became West's friend again.
"With all due respect I'm not Drake who's going to take a picture with him next week and be friends again and her beef is crushed," Cudi said. "I'm not. I mean what I say. I'll be done with you. It's going to take a damn miracle for me and that man to be friends again. I don't see it happening. He needs to become a monk."
