Kim Kardashian is the latest celebrity to promote the Duchess of Sussex-funded coffee company.
The reality television star posted an image of a basket of the instant powder product that markets itself as a "wellness latte".
She is the youngest in a series of celebrities courted by the company. The first was Oprah Winfrey, who helped the Duchess start her investment in the product after receiving it in the mail.
Ms. Winfrey has promoted Clevr Blends to her 19 million followers.
It seems that the world's best-connected celebrities are receiving baskets of the powdered wellness drink as gifts in the hopes that they will promote the product on Instagram.
It's unclear whether Kim Kardashian was paid to advertise the product. In her post, she tagged another Instagram user, which means that she received it from them. Unlike Ms. Winfrey, it is not believed that the Duchess was involved in Ms. Kardashian's promotion of the product.
The star reportedly receives hundreds of thousands of dollars per sponsored Instagram post.
The Duchess plans to privately invest in a number of women-run start-ups that "live up to her values".
Clevr Blends, which has just six employees, describes itself as a “woman-run, mission-driven wellness company” and adds on its website, “We believe you deserve to feel great no matter how crazy life gets . "
Based in Montecito, the affluent Californian enclave that now houses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the company sells its four types of "instant superlatte mixes" online for $ 28 per sachet or $ 2 per drink.
The 39-year-old duchess contacted the company, run by co-founder Hannah Mendoza, after trying their oat milk latte.
She said, "This investment is in support of a passionate entrepreneur who is prioritizing community building alongside her business.
"I am proud to invest in Hannah's commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and developing a product that I love personally that has a holistic approach to wellness. I believe in her and I believe in her society.
