Kristen Bell and Her Daughters “Say Goodbye” to Beloved Dog Barbara With Heartbreaking Tribute

Kristen Bell says goodbye hard. The Good Place actress sent a heartbreaking message to her beloved dog, Barbara, on her Instagram story on Friday October 9th.
She explained that her "beautiful" dog Barb got sick over the weekend. They took her to the vet who diagnosed her with Giardia, an intestinal infection caused by parasites.
"It looked like Barb was going to get through for a while," wrote Kristen on Instagram. "Even though Barb is a (beautiful) fighter, she's gotten septic and her small body doesn't look like it's going to pull through."
The mother of two shared a selfie of herself in the car and wrote, "On the way to the vet to say goodbye now. We have tried to pamper her like the queen that she is for the two years that we have had to spoil her. super grateful to stay. " It appeared that she brought her daughters, 5 year old Delta and 7 year old Lincoln, whose father is Kristen's husband Dax Shepard.

Kristen then thanked The Dog Cafe in Los Angeles "for bringing them into our lives". The cafe aims to "revolutionize rescue dog adoption" by allowing people to have "good time" with dogs in need of a home.

She later posted a picture of one of her daughters with a heart emoji over her face and a face mask over her mouth, giving Barb one final slap. Kristen added, "We love you Barbara."
The actress also shared one final selfie while wearing a leopard print face mask and lovingly gazing at Barbara, whose eyes were closed as she lay on a blanket.
On Thursday, Kristen revealed a family ritual that they have relied on to stay positive and bond during difficult times.

She explained that Dax encourages her daughters to name three things that they are grateful for each morning. He said he was inspired by the 12-step program after his opioid relapse and journey to sobriety. "It makes a huge impact on me and it seems to work for the kids too," Dax said of the gratitude practice.
Kristen added, "We are in bed sometimes at night. They will say," Does anyone want to talk about what they are grateful for? "And immediately [my] mother's heart goes crazy and I say," Sure, if you do that "and try to be cool."
She continued, "I am shocked at how much our girls got involved with this."
