KUWTK Series Finale: Kim Kardashian Said She Was Seeking 'Total Happiness' Before Kanye West Split
And so, Keeping Up with the Kardashians came to an end.
The episode of the iconic reality series on Thursday was the last after 20 seasons on E !, but it was still filled with the usual KarJenner family antics, relationship drama and bittersweet moments.
In one emotional scene, mom Kris Jenner confronted Kim Kardashian about how she was feeling in her relationship struggles with then-husband Kanye West. (The couple has since split, and Kim, 40, filed for divorce in February after filming was completed.)
"I see a therapist," Kim said to her mother after saying that she was "worried" about her. "Let me work on myself and see where I am - and I look forward to it as much as waking up at 40 and realizing that I just want total happiness."
"I know that total bliss is obviously not a complete reality, but when I can have it most of the time, that's all I want to do, wherever that leads me," she continued. "I just want my happiness so I'm working on figuring out how to get there. I just feel like I worked so hard in life to get everything I wanted and I've lived," added mine Met expectations and achieved 10 times more than I thought was human. "

“But I don't have a life to share this with,” Kim said, referring to her loneliness in her relationship with Kanye, 43. “I do - obviously my kids and everything - but will I just sit here and think? , 'Okay, my kids are filling me up and I'm fine?' "
Kim and Kanye share four children: daughters North, 7½, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 2.
Then she told Kris that Kanye's constant residency, especially at his Wyoming ranch, weighed on her.
"I never thought I'd be lonely ... I always thought that's perfectly fine, I could just have my kids, my husband is moving from state to state," she said. "And I'm just with him on that ride, and I was fine with that, and when I turned 40 this year I realized, 'No, I don't want a husband who's in a completely different state than me.' I thought, 'Oh my god, we get along best then' but that's sad for me and that's not what I want. "
"I want someone who we have the same shows on," she added. “I want someone who wants to train with me every day ... the little things are what I don't have. I have all the big things. I have the extravagant, everything you can imagine - and no one will ever do it like this, I know that, do you get what I mean? And I'm grateful for those experiences - but I think I'm ready for the smaller experiences that I think will mean a lot. "

"I just want you to be happy and cheerful," advised Kris, 65, her daughter. "And I think I haven't seen that in a long time."
"Yeah, and I'm ready, whatever that is, I'm not rushing it. I'm not like that, I don't have any final choices to make," Kim said.
"It breaks my heart because I just want them to be happy," added Kris in a confessional from Kim and Kanye. "And I want her to be happy and have the best relationship she can have. And she has four beautiful children. So I just want them to be happy."
"Don't cry," Kim said to her mother. “So much to be happy about! I'm not like I break down and cry when you leave. I'm deaf, sick of it, but I know I'll be happy. don't get this far just to get this far and not be happy. "

"It definitely burdens me figuring out what to do," she told the cameras. "Tris and I are in a much better place than before, but I'm still trying to navigate my feelings and I don't know if I've really had time to think about what moving would mean for our relationship."
After chatting with the basketball star, Khloé, 36, appeared to be on the verge of moving with her 3-year-old daughter, True.
"Tristin is right, there isn't a big reason I couldn't move to Boston for the NBA season. I basically don't even have a proper apartment, so this is the perfect time to move to Boston," she said . noting the fact that her California home was under construction.
