Larry David Marries Ashley Underwood In Southern California Ceremony
Larry David must be feeling pretty good.
Curmudgeon "Curb Your Enthusiasm" married producer Ashley Underwood on Wednesday in Southern California. It was an "intimate affair," a source told Entertainment Tonight.
The two began dating in 2017 after meeting at a birthday party for a mutual friend, actor Sacha Baron Cohen. Underwood worked on Cohen's show "Who Is America?"
"We sat next to each other," David told the New York Times of her introduction. “To her great surprise, I left before dessert. I did so well, jokingly, I didn't want to risk staying too long and making the good impression. "
David was married to environmental activist Laurie David for 14 years before they separated in 2007. They have two grown daughters. The oldest, Cazzie, stayed with David and Underwood during the coronavirus lockdown, according to the Times.
David's professional life was not about nothing.
The co-creator of "Seinfeld" announced in June that "Curb Your Enthusiasm," in which he stars and writes, has been renewed by HBO.
"Believe me, I'm as upset about this as you are," David told The Hollywood Reporter about the expansion. "One day I can only hope that HBO will come to my senses and give me the rejection I deserve."
