Lauren Boebert to antifa protesting her: ‘Get a job’

DENVER - Colorado MP Lauren Boebert has a message for the anarchists and radical left aggressively protesting against them and a Conservative conference: "Get a job."
“Maybe that's your job. Maybe they'll get paid for it, ”Boebert said in an interview with the Washington Examiner on Saturday. "You see that with extreme left progressives because that's either their job, either they get paid for it or they have nothing better to do, they sit at home picking up a check and that's their life."
"I mean, I don't have time for that," said the Republican legislature. “You don't see conservatives doing that because we have families to look after, we have jobs to work in, we have churches that need to grow. And that is our focus - not to destroy, but to build. "
Her message followed a group of radical leftists who aggressively protested Friday night against the Western Conservative Summit at the Colorado Christian University Centennial Institute in downtown Denver. A Denver Communist leaflet distributed at the event read: "We want to send these worms demoralized and isolated back into their holes." At some point there was a fight when an outsider started filming the demonstrators and a man slapped his cell phone out of his hand.
Boebert, one of the speakers at the summit, was an important target. One protester wore a shirt that said "Lauren Boebert is a bloody terrorist". Another woman called to Boebert to "run and hide".
"I'm sorry for your cats," Boebert said in response to the woman in a tweet.
Later on Friday night, a group of protesters had a standoff with about 10 Denver police officers in riot gear and the protesters shouted, "Boebert's slut boys."
To the first year Republican Congressman, "This is too far."
"That they try to attack me, but demoralize our police - that's disgusting," said Boebert. “This is not an attack on me. This is an attack on the men and women who dress every day to serve their communities, who sacrifice and risk their lives every day. "
It ripped up Colorado state democratically controlled lawmakers for ending qualified police immunity.
“You don't know what will happen when you step out the door,” said Boebert. “Can you imagine the stress of getting into these situations where it is - especially in this climate, in this environment where our police officers are demonized and vilified? And now they are personally liable for their job. "
In the past few days, Boebert has also been attacked for voting against a bill to award gold medals to U.S. Capitol officers injured on January 6th. Some said it showed disrespect for the police officers. Uniformed Capitol Police officers showed up at her congressional office to request an explanation, she said.
