Lava cascades into molten lake in volcano's crater
Scientists from the US Geological Survey have been monitoring Kilauea volcano on Hawaii's Big Island around the clock since its eruption on Sunday. On Tuesday, they saw lava flowing from a vent into the lava lake on the summit of the volcano. (December 22)
