Lizzo's mother has a new ride!
On Sunday, the 32-year-old singer "Good as Hell" surprised her mother Shari Johnson-Jefferson with a brand new car for Christmas. "Does my mother have a brand new Audi for Christmas?" Wrote Lizzo on Instagram next to a cute video in which her mother reacted emotionally to the surprise gift.
In the footage, Johnson-Jefferson could be seen bursting into tears when she finally saw the car before turning to hug her daughter.
"I remember crying in my car when my dad passed by, no job, no money to live, and wish I could one day take care of my family," added Lizzo in the caption. "I couldn't do it for my dad, so I'll make sure I spoil mom. Happy Holidays everyone."

In January, the rapper "Truth Hurts" reported on her father's death and told CBS This Morning that she was a student at the University of Houston at the time and dropped out of college shortly after.
"I really gave up," she said. "I was depressed. I had no purpose, like I didn't feel like I was a musician or anything. That turned into 'Oh, can I sleep on your couch' and that? I got really guilty. So I just had this car . It was a Subaru. "
"That was my home for a while. I spent Thanksgiving in this car and I remember crying myself to sleep," recalled Lizzo.
Finally she got up again. "I used everything that happened to me and made me stronger," said Lizzo.
Since then, the star has won three Grammy Awards, as well as a Billboard Music Award, a BET Award, and an iHeartRadio Music Award. In 2019 she was also named "Entertainer of the Year" by TIME.
