Man sits in the woods patiently for wild deer to approach
Chris has always had a love for animals. Animals seem to feel this in humans and often approach them curiously, as they do with Chris in this video. He chose a place on a tree trunk in a protected forest in Ontario, Canada. The deer are completely wild and can move freely through a wide area with beautiful forests. Because they are not hunted here, they have little reason to fear people.
The animals in this forest often allow people to get much closer than usual, and those who visit them are often rewarded with the sight of deer grazing in the distance. But Chris shows how it is possible to sit quietly and wait for them to approach. He brought some apples and carrots with him, and the sound and smell of the crispy goodies make them curious enough to share. After all, he gains their trust completely.
Chris moves slowly and speaks softly and soon has eaten the deer right out of his hand. Many people would be thrilled to look closely at or meet a wild animal like this, but being able to touch and feed a deer like Chris provides memories that will never be forgotten. This is not an isolated case for Chris. He is surrounded by animals everywhere. Whether it's sea turtles, wild birds, horses or even sharks, Chris makes friends with everyone.
