Mary Steenburgen posted a pic of Ted Danson with salad in his teeth for anniversary
Mary Steenburgen celebrates Ted Danson after 25 years of marriage with a very funny post.
The 67-year-old Book Club actress shared an adorable selfie with her 72-year-old husband to celebrate her wedding anniversary. In the sweet picture you can see the star "Good Place" with a big smile and a "big piece of salad" between his teeth. The one question we have: is it arugula or spinach?
"Happy 25th Anniversary! This should be a sweet, loving anniversary photo, but you've got a big piece of lettuce in your teeth. So that's it," wrote Steenburgen in the caption for the botched snapshot.
"Thank you for making me laugh today and every single one of the last 9,125 days," she added. "You are the silliest, wisest, nicest dream ship in the world. That is a big piece of salad, but even that doesn't damage your legendary beauty."
Actress Lily Collins, engaged to Steenburgen's son Charlie McDowell, said, "Oh, happy anniversary! I can't believe how happy I am to call you my future in-laws!"
The sweet love story between Danson and Steenburgen is a legend in Hollywood. The couple met on the set of the film "Pontiac Moon" in 1993 and married two years later.
"We met when we were 40 and 45 and lived a little," she told People two years ago for the magazine's Sexiest Man Alive. "We met at a time when we were both staring at some demons within, and it was lucky we met then."
"(Our love) gets deeper and deeper as we go through the blessings and joys, but also the hurdles of living together," she said. "He is my partner in the deepest sense of the word in this life."

The couple's mixed family includes Steenburgen's children from her first marriage to Malcolm McDowell - Lilly (39) and Charlie (37) - and Danson's two daughters from his previous marriage to Casey Coates - Kate (40) and Alexis (35).
"He's a great father, a great stepfather and a great grandfather," she added. “We have been grandparents for six years now. We have two granddaughters who can't stop climbing on him. You just love him. You basically see it as a jungle gym. He's Teddy - that's their name for him and they just love him. "
In July 2017, Danson opened his relationship with his wife to Us Weekly magazine, exclaiming, "I'm totally in love with Mary Steenburgen."
"She's a remarkable person so I'm just incredibly blessed," said the Cheers star. "It feels like heaven on earth. If I were to die, I can say I know what it is like to be loved and to love." Love."
