‘Masked Singer’ Fans Have 3 Theories About the Identities of This Season’s Snow Owls

* Warning spoilers ahead *
We're only into the third week of season four of The Masked Singer, but things are heating up. Not only have we exposed three big celebs already, but the show has put us in a handful of twists and turns, including the very first dual costume character and the only self-elimination ever. Last night's episode also brought another big shock and left fans speculating about a major competitor.
Wednesday's episode was packed with performances by the four remaining participants in the first group. Popcorn sang an impressive cover of Harry Styles '"Falling" while Sun's rendition of Kesha's "Praying" and Snow Owls' heartfelt rendition of Meghan Trainor and John Legends "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" left the judges speechless. Giraffe gave a memorable rendition of "Get Down on It" by Kool and the Gang.
Unfortunately, Giraffe was eliminated and turned out to be actor Brian Austin Green. And the 90210 actor didn't hold back when he called his close friend and judge Robin Thicke for failing to guess his identity.
Green said to EW, “No disrespect to him because he's a super nice guy, but he sucks. It is terrible. I told the producers early on that if anyone on this panel will guess me, it will be because we know each other so well. He knows the way I speak and the timbre of my voice. We were best friends for three years - we were at home every day. "
The unexpected exposure not only shocked fans, but also made them question the identities of the other participants - including the Snowy Owls.
While the judges' guesses already seem far from the baseline, online experts come up with a handful of solid theories about who is beneath the feathered masks. Some of them are Derek and Julianne Hough, Chip and Joanna Gaines, and Clint Black and Lisa Hartman.
First, there has been a bit of confusion as to whether these two are a married couple or a brother and sister duo. While they were referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Owl, a hint packet implied that they could also be a brother-sister duo. The Hough siblings seem like a good option considering the references to Christmas and "Let It Snow" coincide with their Christmas special on NBC "Holidays with the Houghs" in which they danced to "Let It Snow" . When Derek does this show and DWTS, he's very ambitious.
Many fans took the sign in a notice package that said "Magnolia" and ran with it. They pointed at the Chip and Joanna Gaines couple, who own a company called Magnolia.
As for country music couple Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black, the duo again fits in with the Christmas clues (they actually do have a Christmas album together) as well as a mysterious clue that involved a shell with a pearl inside (her daughter's name is Pearl). .
We'll definitely keep an eye on these two.
