Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone Celebrate 15 Years of Marriage With Heartwarming Tributes
Love is in the air!
On October 7th, Melissa McCarthy posted a touching tribute to her 15-year-old husband, actor and filmmaker Ben Falcone on Instagram.
"Today 15 years ago I married the nicest, funniest and strangest person I have ever met," she wrote under what appeared to be wedding photos. "Thank you every day!"
Ben also reminded his Instagram followers how fun the couple's relationship must be with his own Instagram tribute.
"I scrolled through my phone and came across this photo. I can't remember seeing it before," his caption began. "Two things: A) I'm so happy and grateful to be married to such a lovable, smart, kind and wonderful person. B) Why is there a skunk in the picture? Happy fifteenth anniversary, Mooch! On 500 more (I assume that in 400 of these years we'll be a little bit robots. "
Melissa met Ben early in her career. She told the story during the 2018 E! People's Choice Awards, in which the actress received the People's Icon of 2018 Award and the Comedy Movie Star of 2018 Award.
Melissa McCarthy's best roles
"Ben and I met in a little improvisational theater called The Groundlings in LA," said the Oscar nominee. "And I don't think either of us thought we'd really make it, but we were okay to do it as we were allowed to."
The star continued, "Making films and these women I love so much and bringing these stories into the world is more than I could have ever hoped for."
The two hilarious actors have actually worked together on a number of films including Tammy, Life of the Party, and Bridesmaids. So they are really comedic couple destinations.
"It's ridiculous. It's like you could go to work with your best friend. This is exactly how we met and became such good friends because we loved doing it together," Melissa told E! News' Will Marfuggi at the premiere of Life of the Party 2018. "To do it on this scale and still tell stories ... it's a dream."
And who doesn't want to work, let alone get married, his best friend?
