Michael Irvin puts Randy Moss on blast over Jerry Rice ranking
A full-blown, raging battle takes place between the Hall of Fame recipients.
Randy Moss' comments on the Terrell Owens podcast that it was the biggest wideout of all time and T.O. Jerry Rice was second. Now the Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Michael Irvin has jumped into the fray and challenged Moss' sanity.
"Jerry Rice is the greatest of all time," said Irvin on 95.7 The Game's Damon, Ratto and Kolsky show. “If someone says otherwise, they have to see a doctor to examine their skull. Period."
Irvin is on solid ground as Rice's stats and résumé are well above those posted by other wideouts in NFL history.
“You have to pay homage to what this man did. … This shouldn't even be a discussion, ”said Irvin. “I have Jerry Rice up there with the greatest player of all time, period. I don't want to hear a broad receiver. I am speaking of period of all time.
"This discussion shouldn't be a discussion."
As long as diva-wide recipients have their mouths, there will be a discussion, no matter how bad their opinion may be. It is what they do because their personalities are nothing less than art forms.
