Michael Moore Tells MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, “It’s Time To Repeal The Second Amendment”

"Who is going to say, 'It's time to lift the second amendment,' on this network or any other network over the next few days?" Michael Moore asked MSNBC host Chris Hayes today.
"Oh, you can't say that," he imagined the Americans' answer.

"Fine, why not?" asked Moore.
Oscar-winning filmmaker Bowling for Columbine asked that question as the nation still reeled from yesterday's school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, which killed 19 children and two adults.
“Look, I support all gun control laws. No sane gun control. We don't need the sane stuff. We need the hardcore stuff that's going to protect us and our kids," he said.
“We will not recognize that we are a violent people from the start. This country was born in violence with the indigenous genocide at the gun barrel. This country was built on the backs of slaves with a gun on their backs... We don't want to acknowledge our two original sins here, which have a weapon behind our ability to become who we have become," he told Hayes.
"I really think if Jefferson, Madison, and Washington all knew the bullet would be invented - about 50 years after our revolution, I don't know if they would have written it that way. They didn't even know what a bullet was. It did not exist until the 1830s. [If] they had any inkling that this kind of slaughter was going to happen, one would have to think that the country's founders would not support it."
