Nice from the house
It's no secret that several HGTV stars have taken their careers to the next level by starting local retail stores. The Magnolia empire by Chip and Joanna Gaines includes the magnolia market in the silos in Waco, Texas; Hometown's Ben and Erin Napier have a lifestyle store in Laurel, Mississippi. The latest HGTV star to open a store in her hometown? Good Bones is home to Mina Starsiak Hawk, who has just opened a shop - complete with a quaint bistro.
Two Chicks District Co. is located on the south side of downtown Indianapolis and offers a variety of furnishings and furniture, from textured pillows to leather armchairs. Whether you are looking for a peasant style or a modern aesthetic from the middle of the century, there are many wonderful products for shopping. The best part? Once you're done shopping for your home, you can enjoy a drink in the bistro at the front of the store. It offers wine, beer, sandwiches and snacks.
Before the opening of Two Chicks District Co., Hawk shared her enthusiasm on Instagram and published photos of the business. "It took many years and we all hope you love it as much as we do!" she wrote in the caption.
Would you like to see Hawk's new store? Two Chicks District Co. is open Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The shop is open on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Customers must wear a face mask during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
