Model Hunter McGrady Mourns Death of 23-Year-Old Brother Tynan in Moving Tribute
Hunter McGrady's younger brother, Tynan, died at the age of 23.
The model announced the heartbreaking news in a post shared on Instagram on Tuesday, May 4th.
"The most nerve-wracking words I've ever had to write in my life, one that no one ever wants," she began. "My chest is heavy and I feel like I'll never breathe again. I don't know how this pain will be mended or if it will ever feel like life can be alive again. My little brother is May 1st gone to the Lord. ""
In the Post, Hunter described Tynan as "the kindest, gentlest, loveliest, most beautiful, intelligent, funniest person this earth has ever known".
"If you know me, you know that I rave about my brother, he is and will remain the love of my life," she wrote alongside a series of snapshots of the siblings. "I wrote my brother the words 'Good night, I love you' every night because I never wanted a day to go by without him knowing how much I love and adore him. Everyone around him always has beautiful things said his friends' parents always said, 'We're so glad Tynan is in our child's life, he's such a good influence.' "

While not sharing Tynan's cause of death, Hunter wrote, "There's no telling why these things happen, why accidents happen, why life is being neglected."
"I am so grateful for the beautiful 23 years God has given us with him," she added. “I know we will meet again because the Bible says it will. 'He will wipe every tear from her eyes and there will be no more death, there will be no more sorrow, no more weeping and no more pain than the earlier things have passed away. ' Revelation 21: 4. "
At the end she wrote: "Thank you for making me a big sister. Thank you for your heart. Good night, my sweet, beautiful Bubba, I love you."
Hunter's sister and model colleague Michaela McGrady also paid tribute to Tynan on Instagram. "My family and I are devastated," she wrote. “He was the baby of the family and the light in all of our lives. He lit up every room he went and was the gentlest spirit that has ever lived on this earth. To know that Tynan loved him. He becomes so We have a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. This pain is immeasurable. "
Michaela described him as "wildly funny, incredibly intelligent, infinitely friendly and gentle, but determined and passionate". She also wrote that being Tynan's sister was the honor of her life.
"The number of times people came to us and said they were proud to know him is innumerable," added the Model Citizen podcast host. "His impact on his world was very palpable and will continue to be felt in our family, friends, and those who go on living to remember him. I try not to think about the times I will never be with him again but I'm grateful for the times when I was gifted. I was able to spend 23 years with my little brother. A gift. A treasure. He has inspired me every day. "
