More than 300,000 Trump supporters plan to join virtual ‘second inauguration’ event on 20 January

Donald Trump's supporters, who continue to believe the outgoing president's allegations of electoral fraud, have scheduled a "second inauguration" event for him online on the day Joe Biden will take his oath of office.
The Donald J Trump 2nd President Inauguration Ceremony, scheduled on Facebook, is scheduled for January 20th and more than 325,000 people have shown interest in attending. Of these, more than 60,000 say they will definitely leave, according to the Daily Dot.
One of the hosts of the event is Evi Kokalari, also known as Evi Kokalari-Angelakis, according to her Twitter profile, who was part of the Trump campaign in the 2020 election and appears on right-wing news networks like One America News Network (OAN), a channel which is often promoted by Trump when he was hostile to Fox News.
Ms. Kokalari's latest post on the event page refers to Facebook's election information system, which she considers "fake", and says: Our voting rights are under attack! Such is our freedom of speech! And FB's disclaimer for this post proves just that. "
The page is full of commentary in support of the president's claims of being rigged during the election and links to articles on conservative news websites that contain information that has been exposed in the past.
The event has received interest from over 300,000 people

The event page itself was marked by Facebook with the disclaimer: "Joe Biden is the elected President. He will be inaugurated on January 20, 2021 as the 46th US President."
So far, there has been no confirmation from the Trump team whether the president supports this event or plans to attend it himself.
Mr Trump reportedly planned to outshine Mr Biden on inauguration day with a rally announcing his run in 2024. His team had started working on preparations, but there was no formal announcement as Mr Trump and his staff continue to claim the president could get a second term. However, most of the lawsuits filed by Mr. Trump's legal team have so far not been significant in any of the states.
The Facebook event is seen as another means of keeping the outgoing president's support base satisfied.
