Mum catches paedophile in sting after he sends vile message to her 13-year-old daughter

A mother pretended to be her 13-year-old daughter to catch a pedophile who had sent hideous Instagram messages.
46-year-old Nicholas Jackson was arrested at work and later detained for three years after his parents persuaded him to send her his cell phone number.
The woman could use the number to find Jackson's Facebook account and reveal his identity.
Leeds Crown Court heard on Friday that the teenager's mother was worried about her safety in October last year after reading news from an account called "Loose Hill Nick" on her Instagram page.

Prosecutor Michael Collins told the court that the defendant had sent messages to the girl saying that she was "fit" and asked "how far she would go".
Her mother then answered Jackson, who pretended to be her daughter, and discussed meeting him in Wakefield.
Jackson sent his cell phone number and a message asking her to delete her conversation.
Mr. Collins said the woman could then use the number to find Jackson on Facebook.
Jackson had confiscated his iPhone when he was arrested. Later, more than 1,000 indecent pictures of children were found.
A total of 436 pictures were in Category A - the most serious insult.
Some pictures showed children of two years of age who were sexually abused.

Wakefield's Jackson pleaded guilty to having committed three crimes to take an indecent picture of a child and three crimes that violated a regulation to prevent sexual harm.
The accused had been ordered to prevent sexual harm in 2016 when he was convicted of indecent pictures of children.
He also had previous convictions for drug-related offenses, criminal harm, and court order violations.
Christopher Morton said soothing that Jackson was an internationally known climber and climber and committed the offenses when he was suffering from depression and anxiety.
Judge Rodney Jameson QC imprisoned Jackson for three years and four months and said, "They are not victimless crimes.
"Real children are raped to produce this kind of material."
