Najee Harris says ‘I think [Todd McShay] can kiss my a–‘

Adam Schefter built his Alabama podcast interview bringing back Najee Harris and called him "incredible" and "entertaining like any guest we've ever had on that podcast."
In the middle of the interview, Schefter read some scouting reports from his ESPN colleagues. One of them came from senior writer Todd McShay.
Harris is an excellent size and has a decent top speed. As a senior, he was a much more decisive runner, showing off oily hips for a big back, and playing lightly on his feet. He gets on and off quickly during breaks, has excellent ball safety, and is a slippery runner between tackles, but he has acceleration restrictions. Harris showed tremendous improvement in 2020 as a pass catcher with a large catch radius and the ability to adapt to balls thrown outside his frame. He also shows good aggressiveness in Pass Pro.
When Schefter asked Harris for his thoughts on McShay's scouting report, Harris replied bluntly, "I think Todd McShay can kiss my A."
Harris seemed upset with McShay's analysis and went on the defensive.
"I haven't had a chance to show that I can catch," said Harris. "It's not because I can't. It's because I wasn't in the game to show people I could catch. So let's just stop looking at the statistics sheet and watch the game . "
Harris went on to explain that circumstances were different when he first came to Alabama. There was no point in throwing the ball on a rewind as the quarterback had a ton of first-round players to pass on to.
After wide receivers Jerry Jeudy (Denver Broncos) and Henry Ruggs (Las Vegas Raiders) moved into the NFL, Harris saw more opportunities to prove his pass-catching skills.
Harris pointed out that he led the country by receiving touchdowns (7) for a rewind from his junior year. He added 304 yards on 27 receptions (11.3 yards per catch) and 425 more yards as a senior.
