Russell Westbrook ended his time in the NBA bubble generously.
Although the Houston Rockets may have missed the NBA finals this year, the 31-year-old point guard shared his appreciation with the cleaning staff at Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort by leaving a $ 8,000 tip.
Dallas Morning News reporter Brad Townsend was the first to cover the news.
"Only @ russwest44 could really confirm this, and I doubt he will, but I was told that he left the housekeepers of Grand Floridian a $ 8,000 tip when the @ HoustonRockets opened the NBA Bubble left, "Townsend wrote on Twitter this week earlier. "Plus, I was told, it left the room practically pristine."

The NBA star confirmed to another reporter that he left a tip for housekeeping - despite refusing to share the specific amount - as well as a thank you note.
"They took very good care of us," Westbrook said, according to Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report. “We took the time and energy to do your job at a high level. That was the right thing. I like to do the right thing. "
In the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, when schools across the country switched to virtual learning, Westbrook also donated hundreds of computers to needy students in Houston.

Westbrook joined his team in the Orlando Bubble in July after previously testing positive for COVID-19.
"I tested positive for covid-19 before my team left for Orlando," he wrote in a message at the time as the league prepared for the 2019-2020 season restart. "I'm feeling fine right now, quarantined and looking forward to going back to my teammates when I'm free."
In the end, the Rockets' championship dreams were shattered by the Los Angeles Lakers, who defeated the team in the second round of the Western Conference Finals last month.
