NBC Fall 2020 Schedule: Addition Of ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Spinoff Starring Christopher Meloni Marks Only Change

NBC has released an Fall 2020 schedule that consists only of series for which no new seasons have yet to be shot. This is a strategy similar to the CBS approach, since both networks appear to be confident that they will be able to complete new episodes sometime in the fall. (The official start of the 2019-20 season is likely to be postponed.)
Besides Fox, NBC is one of two broadcasting networks that do not yet have to make any pick-up decisions for their pilots. However, at the beginning of this spring there was a direct order for a Law & Order: SVU spin-off under the heading of Christopher Meloni, who repeated his role as Elliot Stabler. The new series, officially titled Law & Order: Organized Crime, is the only change in the NBC schedule that focuses on stability.
