NeNe Leakes' husband Gregg Leakes has been discharged from hospital after a 6 week stay for treatment related to the return of his cancer.
On Wednesday, 53-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta briefed her followers on her husband's health and tweeted that she missed a guest appearance on The Talk because of Gregg's release.
"I was supposed to be hosting The Talk today," NeNe said, responding to a fan who asked why she wasn't on the show. "But I got good news that Gregg is coming home after 6 weeks in hospital."
Just last month, the reality star announced that her 66-year-old husband's cancer had returned.
Gregg was previously diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer but is said to be in remission two years ago.

When NeNe broke news of her husband's recent health battle, she said he was in the hospital and recovering from an operation.
"He's in the hospital for a week tomorrow," NeNe told The Jasmine Brand during an Instagram Live in June when asked about an update on Gregg. "I'm sure he'll be home in about a week or so. He had to have an operation."
NeNe described Gregg as "different" in this "difficult" part of her life.
"He's super small," she said. "If you've ever been with someone who's previously had cancer, they're different. They're different."

In June 2018, NeNe first went public about Gregg's cancer diagnosis.
Fans witnessed the effects of Gregg's cancer treatment on him during season 11 of RHOA. The diagnosis also influenced his marriage to NeNe, who admitted during a reunion special in April 2019 that she was considering a second divorce from Gregg due to his attitude towards her while on chemotherapy.
"It's very, very hard to be a caretaker," she previously told PEOPLE. "People call and say, 'How is Gregg?' and I want to throw the phone away and say, "How the hell am I? I'm going crazy here, Gregg is killing me! "I'm not good at it - I'd rather hire someone. Gregg doesn't want me to hire anyone, but I'm just not good at pillows."
The couple - who married in 1997, divorced in 2011, and remarried in June 2013 - were able to put things right.

Gregg later apologized publicly to NeNe and wrote on Instagram: "I'm sick of hurting my wife who is just trying to take good care of me and only wants the best for me. She deserves a lot more for her hard efforts and tireless hours spent on me. "
He added, "I pray to God he'll get it together ... she did NO wrong ... it's all up to me."

As for Gregg's health, NeNe proudly stated in May 2019 that he would be cancer-free after completing chemotherapy.
"We're overjoyed to say we saw the doctors because of the results of Gregg's PET scan he did last week! Test show, wait for it ..... WE'RE CANCER FREE !!! Yes God!" She wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her smiling husband.
