Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Pro Football Hall of Famer, and Fox sports analyst Troy Aikman retired from the NFL in 2000, but he certainly hasn't retired from a killer gym - and he has the body of someone who is half his age.
In an April 11 Instagram shot, 54-year-old Aikman showed off his formidable physique on a boat trip in Florida with former Dallas Cowboys trainer Jimmy Johnson. Even though Aikman hasn't played professional football in over 20 years, he still has six pack abs.
"What a weekend," Aikman captioned the photo. “Lots of laughs with great friends who remember our time together in Dallas and celebrate @ jimmyjohnson4616. We are all indebted to Coach for changing our lives. "
Johnson, who is no stranger to the sea as an avid fisherman, posted the same photo on his Instagram account and titled "Great friends on the water!"
Although Aikman recently spent time in the sun with his old friends to relax, he also spends a lot of time in the gym. One only has to look at his previous IG posts to find evidence. According to previous IG snapshots, part of his training routine is lifting weights while using a balance board and pedaling on the metal of his peloton.
Just remember, the next time you hit the gym, you'll have a six pack abs at 54. Only maybe.
