The Minnesota Vikings NFL team was tricked into showing a photo of adult star Johnny Sins during a portion of the game honoring the US military.
The ploy happened earlier this month during the Vikings and Dallas Cowboys game in a segment the team calls a "salute to the soldiers," which featured photos of members of the armed services on the stadium's jumbotron.
Before the game, the Vikings took to Twitter to ask for pictures from service members.
“We honor our nation's soldiers, veterans and their families during Sunday's game against Dallas. Share photos and stories of your loved ones who have served or are currently serving with #SkolSalute for a chance to feature on the video board on Sunday," the team tweeted.
Well, Twitter user @kylerulz4h replied: "This is my cousin Joel who served in the army. He's always been an inspiration and someone I look up to for his heroism. He's also a HUGE Vikes fan #skolsalute.”
He accompanied the tweet with a picture of a man in army gear.
But it wasn't his cousin Joel... it was adult movie star Johnny Sins, whose name is Stephen Wolfe. Sins has been making adult films for more than 10 years and has won awards from Pornhub and other porn outlets and associations. He has more than 680,000 Twitter followers.
Sins responded to the trick on Twitter, writing, "Ha, that's awesome!"
