NFL Twitter stunned by 49ers' total first-half destruction of Patriots
NFL Twitter was stunned by Pats 'dominance in the 49ers' first half and originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea
The 49ers dominated the New England Patriots after half of the game, leading the Bill Belichick-trained team 23-3 at the break in Foxboro, Mass.
Led by two touchdowns from Jeff Wilson Jr. and efficient, quick passes from Jimmy Garoppolo, the 49ers were in total control from kick-off.
While the Patriots aren't the old-time patriots, it was still a formidable first-half result that shocked much of NFL Twitter as the 49ers seemed to dominate.
Cam Newton fought mightily for the Patriots, completing only four passes for 30 yards and two interceptions.
