Nick Cordero hits day 75 in hospital, wife Amanda Kloots urges people to take coronavirus seriously

When Nick Cordero is in the hospital for 75 days, his wife Amanda Kloots asks people to stay safe in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 41-year-old Broadway star was hospitalized in the intensive care unit for serious complications from COVID-19.
In a post on Instagram on Monday, Kloots shared a photo of herself in a face mask and a caption asking her followers to take the virus seriously.
"This is my reminder of you to stay safe, wear your mask, wash your hands, maintain social distance and not leave your home unless you have to. You don't want this virus," she wrote . "You don't want your loved one to get this virus. It is still there and is unfortunately increasing again."
She continued, "I never thought Nick or I would get COVID, and we both thought we could stay home and relax. Nick is 41 years old, in good shape, and has no pre-existing health problems. He leaves day 75 in the intensive care unit. My heart breaks every day. Please be safe. "

Cordero has tested the virus negative since its original diagnosis, but suffered from a lung infection at the end of last month and remains on a ventilator. He also started stem cell treatment last week to heal his lungs.
A prominent fitness trainer, Kloots has kept her more than 322,000 Instagram followers up to date with the latest ups and downs of Cordero as she continues to look for the positive aspects and blow up her husband's music with her baby Elvis.
"Where there is faith, there is hope," wrote Kloots earlier this month. "Where there is hope, there can be a miracle! As my father has said since day one, every day he is with us is a miracle. I believe God is with us, with the doctors and with Nick . "
