"Rogue plays to win in the medium-sized crossover game with the ideal blend of expressive design, advanced technology, security, comfort and versatility."
styling
The 2021 Rogue has been redesigned inside and out so that it looks more aggressive, sporty, fun and of course mischievous.
The vehicle is equipped with a floating roof and a further developed V-Motion grille as well as a refreshed headlight design and "U-shaped" body highlights. New multi-stage LED headlights with an extended lighting range are standard for all Rogue classes 2021 and underline the powerful front grill design. LED fog lights are standard on SL and Platinum types.

The body measures 1.5 inches shorter and 0.2 inches lower than the rogue of the previous generation, which increases the appearance of the power and at the same time improves driving maneuverability. The most important aerodynamic features include "3D" tire deflectors in the lower front panel, an active grille shutter to control the airflow into the engine compartment, a special shape of the A-pillar, underbody covers to control the airflow under the vehicle and a unique "air curtain" directs the airflow precisely from the front to the sides.
The 2021 Rogue is offered in a variety of color combinations and for the first time in five two-tone combinations.
In the cabin, the rogue has heated front and rear seats, heated exterior mirrors and a heated steering wheel as well as a memory seat for two drivers. Seating with leather upholstery is standard with Rogue SL, with quilted seating with semi-aniline in platinum quality. It offers three interior colors: charcoal, gray and light brown.
In the rear, a split one-touch folding seat with available remote folding function offers a versatile loading capacity that is ideal for weekend adventures. Together with the newly configured rear cargo space, the easy-to-wash cargo area and floor mats, and the available redesigned Divide-n-Hide® and motion-activated tailgate, Rogue was developed to enable families to ride on all of their adventures. The new design of the electronic switch eliminates the need for mechanical devices under the gear lever, creating additional storage space under the new "floating" center console.

The brand new Rogue has most of the standard security technologies in its class. This is also the latest Nissan model that offers the Nissan Safety Shield 360 standard across the entire product range. Nissan introduces the "Family Hub" on Rogue, a space created to offer comfort and utility to every occupant.
Vehicle access with the Nissan Intelligent Key ™ has been expanded on all four doors. A driver or front passenger can now unlock with the push of a button on the rear door handle instead of having to unlock with buttons on the front door handle.
The rear doors are extra wide open and open by almost 90 degrees, which makes it easier to get in and out of a child seat and get in and out. The new Rogue "Butterfly" opening front center console allows easy "pass-back" access to the second row. With the available Remote Engine Start2 with intelligent climate control, parents can heat or cool the interior before putting a small child in a cold or hot vehicle.
Comfort features in the rear seats include standard NASA-inspired, low-fatigue, low-gravity spine seats and available heated seats.3 For the first time, Rogue is equipped with an exclusive class-exclusive tri-zone climate control, which means that the occupants in the rear seats this can regulate their temperature separately from the front driver and front passenger controls. Both rear doors are also available with exclusive class pull-up umbrellas to remove unwanted direct sunlight.
The rear cargo area is accessible via the newly available, motion-activated tailgate. Once inside, Rogue's revamped Divide-n-Hide® system can provide hidden and secure storage for essential gear. The inner right side of the cargo area (behind the wheel arch) is also used to secure wider objects or food.
Technologies
The brand new Nissan Rogue is now completely wireless and drivers can enjoy easy connection without the use of cables. Apple CarPlay® wireless is also available. With a new wireless smartphone charger, phones can be charged on the go with a range of charging applications (maximum 15 watts). The console also includes Type C and Type A USB charging ports.
Calling up vehicle information is now very easy with the digital display integration of the 2021 Rogue with three high-tech displays. The combination of a 10.8-inch full-color head-up display, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster "Digital Dashboard" and a large, floating 9.0-inch touchscreen display enables rogue drivers to adapt and improve the driving experience.
The head-up display, another premiere for Rogue, is designed to help reduce driver workload and stress. This keeps the surroundings and the road in view while accessing a range of vehicle information. At 10.8 inches, it is one of the largest head-up displays in the segment.
Under this head-up display in the instrument panel is an accessible, fully digital measuring device with a width of 12.3 inches. By using uniquely designed background graphics, image quality and contrast have been significantly improved. Both the 12.3-inch and 7.0-inch gauges are fully customizable, so the driver can customize the information and appearance to suit their preferences.
One of the first vehicles to offer Nissan's ProPILOT Assist, the new Rogue, now has practical driver assistant technology that reduces stop-and-go driving on the freeway and makes longer journeys on the open freeway easier. ProPILOT Assist combines steering assistant and intelligent cruise control to control acceleration, braking and steering both in heavy traffic and on open roads.
For 2020, ProPILOT Assist has been enhanced with next-generation radar and camera technology to achieve smoother braking, better steering assistance, and improved detection performance when other vehicles enter the lane.
In addition, this additional technology is available from Rogue Platinum Standard and Rogue SL and offers a number of new functions. The navigation map data now offers the possibility to proactively reduce the speed for upcoming motorway curves or intersections and to help the driver slow down motorway exits by only linking ProPILOT Assist to the Nissan door-to-door navigation system.
Powertrain
All 2021 Rogue have a standard 2.5-liter DOHC in-line four-cylinder with Nissan direct injection gasoline system. It delivers up to 181 HP and 245 Nm torque.
