Notre Dame quarterback enters transfer portal
In evaluating the quarterback position in 2020 for years to come, Brendon Clark was a player who received a lot of attention. The Midlothian, Virginia product surprised some by earning the replacement job last season, but a recurring knee injury he originally sustained in high school sidelined him in the latter half of that year.
Clark never recovered quite the way he would have liked and was overtaken by both Drew Pyne and Tyler Buchner on the depths table while Jack Coan switched for the 2021 season. Now Clark calls it a career at Notre Dame when he enters the transfer portal.
Clark ended his tenure at Notre Dame with two career degrees, one of which scored a 22-yard touchdown.
All the best to Clark in the next phase of his career and life.
